Cicada is a studio based in Belgaum, Karnataka , that works within the realms of design, research and social impact.  We create spaces, objects and interactions that are meaningful and grounded.

Founded in 2015 ,the practice emerged as a friendship between us while travelling and documenting the built and natural landscapes of the region bordering the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. Our work  is greatly informed and inspired by these ,travels and experiences and in that spirit, we strive for a design practice that is relevant to its time, place and people.
